HMP & YOI Isis protects the public by holding sentenced young adults and category C offenders who are under the age of 25.

HMP & YOI Isis is sited within the perimeter wall of HMP Belmarsh.

Accommodation: There are two house blocks (Thames and Meridian), both of a similar size. They are purpose built to Category B standard with a mixture of single and double cells. The establishment has an entry building, activities centre for academic and vocational training, segregation unit and PE Academy.  HMP & YOI Isis does not have in-patient healthcare facilities.

Reception Criteria: HMP & YOI Isis does not serve any local courts, and takes receptions from other prisons 2 days a week.
Regime: HMP & YOI Isis has a broad based curriculum that supports academic achievement, vocational training, interventions and PE activities. The interventions programme is subject to offender needs. The regime is delivered in partnership with Kensington and Chelsea College. Details of some of the activities are:
